LINK Fife Mental Health Befriending Projects provide a befriending service for Adults and Young People who have become isolated, lonely and disengaged due to a mental health issue. The aim of befriending is to enhance the quality of the befriendee’s life by supporting their welfare, personal development and capacity for self-determination, through forming a trusting relationship with a befriender.Â
Volunteers provide regular 1-2-1 emotional, social and practical support which positively impacts people’s well-being and connectedness, and encourages them to participate more fully in the life of the community.Â
LINK is a member of Befriending Networks, Volunteer Friendly Award accredited and is proud to be a Real Living Wage employer.Â

It will provide critical evidence which could help decarbonise home heating throughout the UK and it all starts here! Check out h100fife.co.uk for more.
Research shows people with poor mental health can struggle to communicate effectively with their energy provider, which is why SGN has partnered with Mental Health UK on its Mental Health & Money Advice Service, providing holistic advice to customers living with poor mental health to ensure that they get help to maintain a safe and warm home.
